Aegina is not famous for its beaches but there are few that are really worth while. Most of them are organized with easy road access.
  • Marathonas (West Aegina): Marathonas Beach is a sandy beach situated a bit south of Aegina town. The beach is partially organized, with sunbeds and umbrellas available, while there are also many trees. Marathonas Beach is suitable for families with children, as it offers clean shallow sea.
  • Moni Island (Southwest Aegina): Moni Island Beach is a unique and pristine beach located on the uninhabited Moni Island, just off the coast of Aegina. It is accessible by boat, just 10 minutes away from Perdika village with a 6 euro fare. The beach is small and organized, surrounded by lush vegetation while there are animals like peacocks and deer walking around free.
  • Klima (South Aegina): Klima Beach is on the south edge of the island. It is a popular organized sandy beach with a nice beach bar and easy road access. Due to the narrow bay and its south orientation the clean sea is usually calm.
  • Perdika (South Aegina): Perdika Beach is a small sandy beach located in the picturesque fishing village of Perdika on the southern coast of Aegina. It faces west offering crystal-clear waters and a charming ambiance. Perdika Beach is not organized, but there are trees along the coast for shade.
  • Aeginitissa (South Aegina): Aeginitissa Beach is a hidden gem situated on the southwestern coast of Aegina. It is an organized sandy beach known for its natural beauty and serene atmosphere. The beach is not very crowded, making it a great spot for relaxation.
  • Vagia (North Aegina): Vagia Beach is a peaceful sandy beach located on the northeastern coast of Aegina. It offers a tranquil setting and shallow crystal-clear waters. The beach is not very crowded despite of being organized. The beach has no trees but it offers easy road access.
  • Souvala (North Aegina): Souvala Beach is a small sandy beach situated a bit east of Souvala port on the northern coast of Aegina. It is a convenient choice due to the easy access, yet it is quiet. The beach is fully organized, with sunbeds, umbrellas, and beach bars available.
  • Agia Marina (East Aegina): Agia Marina Beach is one of the largest and most popular beaches on Aegina Island. It offers a long stretch of golden sand and shallow sea making it ideal for families with kids. It is organized with amenities like umbrellas, sunbeds, watersports and beach bars. Agia Marina Beach is easily accessible by road, with parking nearby.
