Beaches Of Spetses

In Spetses there are some pretty impressive beaches. In order to visit the best ones ask for the bus schedule, as there are very few routes, or simply get a boat.
  • Agii Anargiri (West Spetses): A large beach on the west side, just next to Bekiri Cave. It is laid with sand and pebble, with the water being crystal clear. Part of the beach is organized with umbrellas, sunbeds, water sports and a tavern. On the beach there are a lot of trees for shade and the small Agii Anargiri church.
  • Agia Paraskevi (West Spetses): Located a bit north of Bekiri Cave, on the west side of Spetses island, this is one of the best beaches. On the beach there is the small Agia Paraskevi church, many trees and a beach bar offering umbrellas and sunbeds. The beach has a mix of sand with pebble and there is easy access through the main road.
  • Agia Marina (Southeast Spetses): Located on the south outskirts of the town, Agia Marina Beach is a popular sandy beach because it is easily accessible. It faces southeast and it is organized, but the beach bar there is pricey. It is of moderate size and can get crowded during peak season. Families with kids will find the shallow waters and gentle slope ideal.
  • Zogeria (Northwest Spetses): Situated on the northwest edge of Spetses island, Zogeria Beach is a scenic beach with crystal-clear waters. It faces northeast and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape. Accessible by foot, bicycle through a dirt road or by boat, the organized beach is relatively small and may get crowded. The beach has sand and thin pebble, while there are trees for shade.
  • Kaiki (Northeast Spetses): Situated on the southwestern coast of Spetses, just a bit north of town, facing north. Kaiki Beach is an organized picturesque pebble beach with azure waters. Accessible by foot, bicycle, or water taxi, the beach is relatively small but offers a tranquil atmosphere.
  • Vrellos (North Spetses): A lovely small pebble beach located on a narrow bay on the north side of Spetses island. The beach is covered by umbrellas and sunbeds for rent by the beach bar, but right behind them there are many trees.
  • Agios Mamas (East Spetses): Located in the heart of Spetses town, Agios Mamas Beach is a convenient choice. It has a mix of sand with thin pebble and calm waters despite of its location. It is relatively small and less crowded. Agios Mamas Beach is not organized but there are few trees near the shore.
