Beaches Of Paxoi

Most beaches are small in size and with no sand, but the turquoise water is crystal clear. On Paxoi the best beaches are found at the northeast part, but the most amazing beaches with thin white sand are found on Antipaxoi.
  • Vrika (Αντίπαξοι Paxoi): Vrika and Voutoumi are the best beaches of Paxoi, located on Antipaxoi island. The countless trees, the white sand and the turquoise water compose an exotic landscape. Vrika is a relatively small beach with thin white sand, situated in a verdant narrow bay. The waters are shallow and there is a beach bar and a couple of taverns on the beach. The beach gets very crowded, especially when boats arrive.
  • Voutoumi (Αντίπαξοι Paxoi): Along with Vrika, this is the most beautiful beach you will encounter. Here you will find turquoise blue water and great thin white sand. The beach is surrounded by green while it also offers some umbrellas and a restaurant. Get an early start because the beach is small and very popular.
  • Levrehio (Northeast Paxoi): A small verdant beach close to Loggos village. It has pebble while the surrounding trees almost reach the shore.
  • Harami (North Paxoi): This is the northeast beach of Paxos, close to Kanoni beach. Harami beach has large white pebbles but in the sea you will find sand, while you also get the chance for water sports. The beach is surrounded by trees, giving it a beautiful turquoise color to its water. You can find some shade under the olive trees which reach very close to the sea.
  • Monodendri (North Paxoi): It is also called Manadendri. It is a medium sized beach with pebble and clean blue water. On the beach there is a tavern and a beach bar, while the olive trees almost reach the sea, providing their shade to tourists.
  • Glyfada (North Paxoi): It reminds an exotic beach while it is also swamped with trees. It is the only beach of Paxoi which has healing properties, as there is a large cavity at its left side from which water rich with sulfur comes out. You will know you are at the right point from the distinct smell of the sulfur. It is located at the northeast of Paxos, close to Dendriatika village.
  • Orkos (North Paxoi): Many people consider this to be the best beach of Paxoi. It has white pebble and fantastic turquoise water, while the fir and olive trees almost reach the sea, providing shade to visitors. In order to reach the beach you will have to leave your car and walk the rest of the distance, about 10 minutes, passing through the forest, which is a wonderful walk. The beach is found north, close to Apergatika village.
  • Kipiadi (East Paxoi): A large beach with pebble at the center of Paxos, facing the east. You will reach the beach through the path after a few minutes of walking.
  • Kali Lagkada (East Paxoi): This is a long and wide beach with pebble and crystal clear water. Behind it is an olive grove.
