At Koufonisia you will encounter many beaches of tropical beauty with golden sand and emerald water. If you seek seclusion you would prefer the beaches of Lower Koufonisi, which you can reach only by boat.

• Megali Ammos (South Koufonisia): This is the beach of the settlement, a superb beach with shallow water. It offers beautiful sand, turquoise water and several shops.
• Finikas (South Koufonisia): It is also called Harokopou Beach. It is a beach with golden sand and clear emerald water and it is the first one you will find as you follow the beach trail. In small proximity you will find some rooms to let.
• Fanos (South Koufonisia): Another impressive sandy beach with amazing water, a bit further down from Finikas Beach. It is favored by young people due to the water sports and the beach bar that can be found there.
• Italida (South Koufonisia): The actual name of this beach is Platia Pounta, but everyone know it as Italida, due to the Italian wife of a local who used to come here. It is small in size but it has nice sand and clear water. It is one of the best beaches on Koufonisia.
• Pori (East Koufonisia): A beach of amazing natural beauty, one of the best in Cyclades, that leaves every visitor speechless. It has amazing white sand that stretches for a long distance and fantastic turquoise-green water. From Chora it will take you around half an hour of walk to reach Pori, but now there is also a newly built road. Around the beach you will find little shops and a cantine.
