Ypapantis Church

A church unique in Eptanisa thanks to its double dome. Its tall steeple and its marble screen are most impressive, while its interior looks more like a Catholic church. It was built on 1601 A.C. in an idyllic location in the woods, close to Grammatikeika village.

Museum Of Paxoi

It is situated on the coast road of Gaios and it is housed in a beautiful neoclassical building. The collection includes stone arrow heads, pots from ship wreckages, weapons and other objects of everyday use from the traditional household of Paxoi.

Erimitis

Erimitis is the best location of Paxoi for a breath-taking view. It is a white cliff that stands vertically to the sea. The unimaginable sight leaves visitors speachless, especially if you visit during the sunset when the coloring of the sky is simply amazing.

Paxoi Tour

If you take a tour of the island you will get the chance to admire the west coast of Paxoi which is wild, and filled with caves and cliffs. The most impressive thing to see is the Ortholithos, a long and narrow stone, shaped like a menhir, that is standing straight coming out of the sea. You will also see Graves, watercaves as they are called by locals, with the largest of them all being Grava of Ypapantis where a beach is formed under the rocks. Finally, you will see Trypitos, a huge stone arch which is a work of art of nature.
