The exhibits include icons of the 16th and 17th century, crosses and embroidered vestments, while the folklore tradition of Lipsi is represented by local costumes and household utensils. Here there is also hosted small archaeological collection with interesting exhibits from the Mycenaean period up to the Early Christian times, liek the Ionic column marbe fragment, lamps, vases, inscriptions and other. Panagia tou CharouPanagia tou Charou is one of the oldest churches on Lipsi, as it was built in 1600. It stands in an idyllic green location outside the Lipsi settlement. The original building was even older, of the 11th or the 12th century. The church got this peculiar name after a rare icon that depicts Panagia holding the Crucified Jesus in her arms. This icon is considered to be miraculous and is currently kept in the church of Agios Ioannis Theologos. Agios Ioannis TheologosAgios Ioannis Theologos is a large church at the center of the settlement, on a hill with a harbor view. It was build with curve stone, it has a blue dome and its most precious relic is the icon of Panagia Mavri, of the 15th century.
