Lower Koufonisi

It is unacceptable to pass from Koufonisia and not visit at least once the Lower Koufonisi island. The boat will drop you off at Detis (the harbor of the island) and from there you can set to find marvelous beaches and the tavern of Venetsanos (the only tavern on the island) with the heavenly dishes. On August 15th all the people move here in order to take part in the great festivity of Panagia where there is food and drinks for everyone.

Gala

This is a weird geological formation and some believe that its shape resembles that of the snail. There a tiny beach is formed, right underneath the rocks, that looks like a swimming pool. It is worth to see this and perhaps take a dive, if you hurry before all the place is taken.

Pisina

As you go on foot towards Pori, a bit after the Italida Beach, you will find Pisina. Pisina in Greek means swimming pool and that is exactly what it is. A swimming pool created by nature, a hole of 3 meters in diameter filled with sea water. Taking a swim in Pisina, the pool of Koufonisia, is a must-have experience.

Eye of the Devil

This is not something of great importance but it is interesting. It is actually a hole on the rocks where sea water passes through in bursts due to the waves. In this area there are many rocky formations like this, but the Eye of the Devil is the most impressive.
