Profitis Ilias MonasteryLocated on the highest point of Hydra Island a bit south of the town, this beautiful monastery provides a peaceful and serene atmosphere for visitors. The monastery features beautiful frescoes and offers stunning views of the island. It is a walk (around 1,5 hour) to the monastery from the town but it is well worth it. Here you can also buy traditional products made by the monks like soap and honey. Hydra CathedralThe main church of Hydra, dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.
