Sarakiniko is the most famous and impressive beach of Milos thanks to the white volcanic rocks that cover almost the entire surface, looking like a moonscape. The sea here is so clean that you may notice little fishes swimming around you close to the shore, while the dark-colored water is rather warm. Start early for the beach because it gathers a lot of people, otherwise you may not find a place to sit. There are some caves close by and with a bit of walking towards the east you can reach the shipwreck. It is a good idea to carry an umbrella but its base will have to stand on the rocks.
