Plakes Beach is a small pebble beach a bit west of Vlichos Beach, on the southwestern coast of Hydra. It is larger than Vlychos but it is laid with rocky pebble making it hard to walk barefoot. There is not natural shade but there is a hotel restaurant on the beach offering umbrellas and sunbeds.
