The entire area of Agia Anna became known because of the movie Deep Blue (Le Grand Bleu) of Luc Besson. The deep blue color of the sea from above impresses visitors and justifies the title of the movie. This is one of the smallest beaches of Amorgos and usually incapable of hosting the crowds that come here to swim in its famous clean water. The beach has sand mixed with thin pebble and many rocks. Agia Anna beach is easy to get to because it is close to Chora and the bus routes are quiet frequent. There is a difficult path starting from Agia Anna that leads to Kampi beach, which is a nudist hangout.
