The famous catacombs of Milos are found between the villages of Klima and Trypiti, 150 meters above the sea level on a steep slope. The catacombs are comprised of 3 underground galleries of 185 meters total length and 3 burial chambers with a capacity of 290 tombs. The tombs bear a splendid decoration of symbols and floral motifs. These catacombs along with those of Rome and the Holy Lands are considered to be the most remarkable in the world.
