A new museum that opened in 1998 and is housed in a plain building in Adamanta. Through its exhibition you will discover 11.000 years of mining activity since the Neolithic Age. On the ground floor you will get the chance to see geological maps, tools, instruments, quarrymen uniforms, various stones, old photos of the sulfur mines, transparencies and impressive models (one with the earth's crust and one with a volcanic explosion). On the first floor there are small samples of rocks and minerals, as well as fossils from the Prehistoric Era.
