Folklore Museum of Milos Attraction
It was founded in 1967 by the Milians of Athens Association and it is housed in a large 19th century mansion in Plaka. The exhibits depict the life on Milos mainly during the 19th and 20th century, but also during the 17th century. You will see important documents, books, photographic material, local costumes of Milos, looms, textiles, weaving and replicas of war ships. The walls are decorated with lithographs, wood-carved mirrors, decorative plates, paintings and more. Every rooms of the museum represents a room of the traditional house of Milos.
