This tower is located at the south part of Amorgos, close to Agia Triada village. It is the best preserved orthogonal tower in Cyclades which was built during the 4th century B.C. Besides its obvious defensive purpose, there is a theory that this was a Fryktoria, a part of a series of towers that were used for communication by light signals carried from one to the other.
