The capital of Sifnos is named after god Apollon, god of the sun, and it is a beautiful and graphic settlement. The Steno, the central alley of Apollonia, is the most popular part where you will find most of the shops and taverns. The freshly painted white alley with the bougainvilleas creates images coming out of a fairy-tale. This is where you will be talking a walk every single day and not get enough of it. Beware that during August it may be too crowded to enjoy.
