Agios Efstratios Cave

In this small cave, according to tradition, the monk Agios Efstratios lived. Its interior looks line a church, due to the icons and other religious items. It is located at the east edge of the island in a spot with incredible sea view.

Agios Vasilios Church

This is the most important metabyzantine monument on Agios Efstratios, built on 1727 according to the engraved inscription above the arched door. It is a small two-room temple with a pitched roof and a small dome, while the roof is covered with slate stone and the dome is tiled.

Sea Caves

There are many sea caves on Agios Efstratios. The most famous ones are the Trypia Spilia close to the harbor where you can get by boat in from one side and out from the other. The second is the Fokia Cave (Seal Cave) at Daskalio area, which was named after the seals that live here, like in other caves as well.
