Loutra is an upcoming tourist resort and part of its popularity is its beach, both beautiful and well-sheltered from the wind. The beach is laid with sand and thin pebble, plenty of tamarisk trees and some taverns. At the edge of the beach the water of the sea is warm, thanks to the water from the hot gates that reaches the sea at that point.
