Damnoni Beach is located in the south coast of Rethymno region. It is a beautiful long beach with soft white sand and crystal clear waters. It is popular but due to its size it rarely get too crowded. There are no trees, but the beach is organized with a few beach bars and tavernas nearby. The beach is accessible by car and there is parking space. A bit southeast lie three more small but lovely beaches, Ammoudi, Mikro Ammoudi and Klisidi.
