A very long stretch of sand with dozens of hotels and facilities of every type, even various watersports. The calm shallow waters are ideal for families with little kids, and it is one of the reasons this area has become an important tourist resort of Corfu. The continuation of the beach towards Agios Spyridon is called Almyros, with sand hills, shallow water and taverns.
