Situated near Agios Nikolaos, Almyros Beach faces east. It offers thin sand and pebbles and calm shallow sea, making it suitable for families. The beach is relatively less crowded compared to other popular beaches. The beach has a few trees offering shade, and there are facilities such as sunbeds and umbrellas. The water gets colder as you get closer to the point where the river flows into the sea.
