Lindos Attraction - Rhodes - Dodecanese
Lindos was among the 3 most important cities of the island and it is mentioned by Homer himself. The settlement is built amphitheatrically with a fantastic view at the edge of a cliff, while it has a Cycladic architectural style with stone-paved alleys and whitewashed houses. It is worth visiting the Acropolis of Lindos (search for the trireme curved on the rock), the temple of Athena of Lindos at the southern edge of the Acropolis, the Propylaea and the Necropolis at the hill in front of the Acropolis.
