Arcaeological Museum of Megisti Attraction
It is housed in a two storey building of 1984 of Kastelorizo, which is part of the medieval castle of Agios Nikolaos. On the ground floor there are three small rooms, one with a representation of an iconostasis of an early Christian church with sculptured decoration, one with amphoras and stone ship anchors, and one with the uniform and the equipment of a sponge diver. Upstairs you will see vases, tombstones, vases, an icon of Agios Dimitrios made of steatite, bottled shipwreck plates and ecclesiastical exhibits like icons, miniature works, church drawings and parts of wall paintings of the 17th century. In the last room there is folklore material like traditional costumes of Kastelorizo, furniture, pottery, cookware and various items of everyday use.
