Symi Archaeological - Folklore Museum Attraction
The Archaeological Museum of Symi is housed in mansion with 3 rooms and a reception area. In its pebbled courtyard there are large sculptures like tombstones, altars and column capitals, while the 3 rooms cover the Ancient, the Protochristianic-Byzantine and the Post-byzantine period respectively. The findings include clay figurines, vases, coins, statuettes, column capitals, a carved glided epitaph with painted decorated with scenes from the Passions of Christ, and more.
