Spinalonga Island Attraction
Spinalonga Island, situated in the Gulf of Elounda, is a historically significant site. It was once a Venetian fortress and later became a leper colony during the 20th century. Today, the island is open to visitors who can explore the well-preserved fortress, wander through the abandoned village, and learn about its intriguing history. Entry fee is 8 euro plus the 10 euro transport cost by boat from Plaka village.
