The Evaggelismos Theotokou Monastery was founded on 1962 with private donation and its has an impressive architecture. It is located in a verdant area while its internal garden is adorned with ornamental plants and flowers. Inside the temple there are 14 portable icons made by the famous hagiographer and writer Fotis Kontoglou. The lovely decoration is completed by numerous relics and religious objects.
