The famous lion that the locals call Lionta is the trademark of Tzia. It is a statue of the archaic period (6th century B.C.) built by the stone which is part of a large slate stone, and it is involved in many local legends. You can get to Lionta by a path that starts from the area of Agios Spyridon.
