On the way to Agiasos, at some point, you will see Karini on your right hand. It is a beautiful verdant location with huge trees, a river with ducks, a little bridge and a tavern. The main attraction here is the huge cavity in the gigantic plane tree where Theofilos the painter used to come. It is a worthwhile experience to enter the cavity, which is much larger than you may imagine. You need to be careful because it is very easy to bypass Karini without even realizing it.
