It operates in the island's capital, in Agia Triada district. It is dedicated to the historical development and culture of the island from prehistory up to the metabyzantine period, and the exhibits are presented by thematic units. Among others, you will see bronze and marble sculptures, pottery, clay figurines, local artifacts, coins, religious items and miniature weapons.
