Hytra is an islet very close to Kapsali which you can visit by boat. Here you will find one of the most impressive attractions of Kythira, the water cave which used to be the shelter of seals up until recently, when the human presence drove them away. The best time to visit the cave is late in the noon, when the sun rays go inside creating some brilliant coloring. The sea here is very shallow so you need to be careful if you fancy taking a dive.
