Gournia is an ancient Minoan town located on a hilltop overlooking the Gulf of Mirabello. There are only ruins left but you can still see the traces of cobbled streets and the palace court yard. The archaeological site is open every day (except Tuesdays and holidays) between 8:30-15:30 and the entry fee is 3 euro.
