It was founded by Manos Faltaits in 1964 and it is one of the oldest of its kind in Greece. It is housed in an island mansion built on the ancient walls, at the northern edge of Skyros town. Inside you will see the representation of a fully furnished traditional house of Skyros with curved chects, textiles, ceramics, traditional costumes of Skyros, farmer tools and more.
