Cyclades Folklore Museum Attraction
You will find it at the southwest of Paros, close to the airport. It is a most unusual museum with the purpose of keeping alive the tradition the history of Cyclades. In its yard, along with the various farming tools, there are on display miniature copies of important architectural monuments of Cyclades, like the stone light-house of Andros, the medieval castle of Parikia, a typical pigeon-house of Tinos, the monastery of Panagia Hozoviotissa of Amorgos and the Evaggelistria Church of Tinos. In its interior there are miniatures of trade and war ships that crossed the Mediterranean, of which stands out a Minoan ship of 1500 B.C. and specimens of fishing and trade ships, dating up to the 20th century.
