Archaeological Museum of Paleopoli Attraction
It was founded in Andros in 2003 and it hosts finding from the archaeological site of Paleopoli. The museum is comprised of three rooms, with the first exhibiting pottery, jewelery, figurines and other small items ranging from the Neolithic Ages up until the Byzantine Ages. In the second room there are sculptures of which the most impressive if the marble lion of the 4th century B.C. and the marble complex of Bellerophon riding Pegasus, the winged horse, of the 6th century B.C. In the third room you may see inscriptions and tombstones of the 5th century B.C. up to the 3rd century A.C.
